Motorway offences

The offence

The sentence

The legislation

If you have received penalty points in the past, commit another offence and receive further points totalling 12 or more then you face an automatic 6-month driving disqualification.  This is the minimum period of the ban.  In these circumstances you may wish to consider an Exceptional Hardship argument.  This is not a simple argument and requires expert legal presentation.

Offences committed on the motorway will be dealt with more seriously because of the dangers on the motorway.

If you have been charged with an office which occurred on the motorway please contact us for expert legal advice.
